Lagrimas de Dolores Sierreno Mezcal

Durango has a large diversity of agave varietals, second only to Oaxaca. Lágrimas de Dolores is making it its mission to provide assistance and supplies to mezcal producers who are growing agave in the more remote and inaccessible part of Durango.

The family has recently started working with other wild agave varietals, working with local communities in other parts of the Durango to source wild agave strains.
